Why teaching?
I strongly believe the art of card magic should be passed on to anyone who is interested in learning it. I've seen countless online courses, DVDs and books but nothing I ever encountered gives a structured approach to all necessary tricks and techniques, thematically ordered with increasing difficulty level to prevent frustration while learning and paired with a fine selection of the most cleverly worked out tricks of the last 100 years. This is why I spent a lot of time and effort in creating just that, this is my magic course for beginners.
How does it work?
The course is structured in sessions, each designed to last 45 minutes. Each session starts with finding the right trick for your skill level and interest, followed by the explanation of the secrets, in-depth practice of the techniques and the magical theory of why and how the effects are magical. Of course there is also time to ask me anything you want. Each session elevates your magic to a higher level, from just-for-fun party tricks to truly overwhelming miracles. Everybody can decide for themselves how far they want to take this journey. I can come to your home for the sessions or we can meet anywhere you like, we can also do it online, of course. First session is free of charge and comes with a complimentary deck of cards to practice with.
Why should I learn card magic?
Card magic is a beautiful hobby, which not only takes you away from the screens and technology that usually dominate our work and private lives, but also brings you closer to the people around you, because magic is nothing without the audience. All you need is a deck of cards and you will always have a fascinating ice-breaker and an interesting trademark. Experiencing the effect that your magic will have on other people is nothing that can be described, you will have to feel it for yourself.
What ages do you teach?
Are you interested in learning something new? That means you are in the right age! Learning card magic is especially beneficial for young people who usually spend way too much time in front of a screen and could use a social super-power that teaches them confidence in presentation and performance, but it is never too late to bring some magic into your life. So please, don't hesitate if you feel that you are too old for this. Getting old is something that happens in your brain when you stop learning new things. So keep yourself young and fresh by starting a completely new hobby!
